Hotels-London.co.uk - London Palestine Film Festival Gets Rolling in April
There will be several UK premieres and Q&As with directors at the upcoming London Palestine Film Festival.

LONDON, ENGLAND, April 07, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The London Palestine Film Festival will kick off on April 29th and include a range of movies from - or about - the country.

It will take place at three venues - the Barbican, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and University College London's (UCL) Darwin Theatre.

Anticipated highlights include showings of Raed Andoni's Fix Me, documentary Jaffa: The Orange's Clockwork and Zindeeq by Michel Khleifi.

The screening cycle at the Barbican runs until May 4th, with SOAS hosting screenings from May 5th to 8th and UCL taking over from May 9th to 11th.

Several of the productions will receive their UK premiere at the event and many of the filmmakers have been invited to conduct question and answer sessions.

The Barbican will also be showcasing a related photography exhibition, which this year will feature the work of JC Tordai.

First held in 1999, the London Palestine Film Festival is now put together by the non-profit organisation the Palestine Film Foundation.

The admission price varies depending on the venue.
