Phenomenal Public Relations Professional Is A Star In The Prestigious Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

As Owner of Kathie Berlin Co., as well as throughout her brilliant 35 year career, she has consistently performed at an extraordinary level.
Kathie Berlin provides public relations services to the motion picture industry, representing films and television. She formulates exceptional public relations strategies for her clients and is one of the women pathfinders in the industry. Mrs. Berlin is well respected among the stars of film and television.
Always looking to keep up with the entertainment industry, Kathie is a regular reader of Hollywood Reporter and Variety. She also routinely peruses The Daily Beast and Huffington Post on the internet.
Kathie recently partnered up with two motion pictures that were extremely well received. She worked on Precious which was the recipient of two Academy Awards. For that film, she concentrated on the social issues in the film and did outreach to literacy groups and planned parenthood, who partnered with them in screening across the country. Also assisting in the promotion of Precious was Mrs. Barbara Bush, who has been a voice for literacy. Mrs. Bush hosted a screening and wrote a piece for Newsweek's My Turn. Kathie did similar work on the George Clooney film, Up In The Air which received 10 Academy Award nominations.
Another client of hers that launched in October and is making a mark is EPIX, a new multimedia cable channel which is developing original programming and specials. Kathie's close friend, award winning actress Marlo Thomas, has written her sixth book Growing Up Laughing and they will be traveling all over the country together to promote it in the fall.
During her educational career, Kathie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as well as a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her husband is Richard Valeriani who is a former NBC Diplomatic Correspondent. An avid movie enthusiast, Kathie sees about 250 films a year. She loves swimming, gardening and reading in the time away from her busy schedule.
