Leyla Modirzadeh Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Leyla Modirzadeh has worked on projects with Southern Alliance Foodway
/Movies and Video News Articles/ -- LUBBOCK, TX, January 04, 2010, Leyla Modirzadeh, Assistant Professor for Texas Tech University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in film education.
With 18 years of experience in the film industry, Ms. Modirzadeh teaches film classes to over 450 students, oversees graduate students and teaches honor courses. She is also an actress and director. She became involved in her profession because of her creativity and longing to share her talent with others. She attributes her success to her hard work and determination.
Ms. Modirzadeh received her master of fine arts from Pratt Institute in 2002 and her master of fine arts in acting from the University of Washington in 1994. A member of the Actors' Equity Association and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education, she is a resident artist for Wildacres Retreat. In the future, she looks forward to participating in the production of more films.
