This autumn sees the Madrid Gay and Lesbian Film Festival return to the Spanish capital with plenty of intriguing cinematic productions.

MADRID, SPAIN, September 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Movie enthusiasts have a great opportunity to discover filmmaking that pushes the boundaries back, according to the organisers of the Madrid Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

Running from October 28th until November 7th 2010, the event is sure to attract plenty of additional bookings at Madrid hotels thanks to the packed programme it offers attendees.

The director and producer of the festival - Gerjo Perez Melia and Lucas Casanova respectively - noted that the film industry keeps evolving and they hope the event can change with it.

One of the main aims of the occasion is also to introduce new filmmakers to audiences.

"This year, films such as Ander, Ghosted, Piao Lang Qing Chun or Soundless Wind Chime talk about frontiers that are crossed by means of love: cultural differences, distance, limitations or even ... death," they added.

There is a huge variety of venues taking part in this fantastic occasion, including the Ayuntamiento de San Sebastian de los Reyes, Universidad Carlos III and Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, all of which can be reached by public transport from the centre of the city.

Admission is EUR5 (GBP4.20) for each film, with passes available to purchase online or at several outlets across the city. There are also multi-film passes which give a discount.
