SEMINYAK, INDONESIA, September 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Movie buffs are set to flock to Bali midway through next month in order to attend the Balinale International Film Festival.

Taking place between October 12th and 17th 2010, the event provides an opportunity for international film-makers to screen their productions, while also gaining inspiration for possible locations to record their future works.

The organisers are hoping that this year's festival proves as successful as the 2009 effort, which attracted record attendance levels, thanks to what they described as a "solid selection of quality international and Indonesian feature films".

On the bill last year were the likes of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, as well as Oh My God!, Tokyo Sonata and Valentino.

Guests planning to stay in nearby Seminyak hotels in order to attend the 2010 festival can look forward to screenings of a number of similarly high-profile movies, including Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts.

The film, which is based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, was partly filmed in Bali, with other locations including Naples and New York.

It will be shown at the Galeria 21 Cineplex on October 12th.

People who register to become Friends of the Festival can purchase advance passes for the event, with access to all screenings starting at 250,000 Indonesian rupiah (GBP18).
