Movie buffs can enjoy some of the offerings at the New Zealand International Film Festival in July.
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, June 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone who enjoys watching a good movie may want to book hotels in Auckland during July to take advantage of some of the screenings that are part of the New Zealand International Film Festival.
Running from July 8th to 25th, anyone visiting the city will have plenty of opportunities to catch one of the films.
Documentaries will also be on show alongside fictional productions. One offering that could be of interest to those visiting Auckland is the documentary Time, Tide and Paradise.
It was produced by New Zealand filmmaker Briar March and focuses on one small community's efforts to deal with climate change as it affects them.
For anyone who enjoys foreign language movies, it could be a good idea to get tickets for the screening of the French feature A Prophet.
This flick was nominated for an Oscar at this year's ceremony, although it missed out to Argentinean offering The Secret in Their Eyes.
Information about ticketing and venues is not yet available, although the films are expected to be screened at various locations around Auckland.
The New Zealand International Film Festival promises to present a varied line-up, offering something for everyone at this year's event.
