The Audi Festival of German Films will get underway in Sydney on April 21st and run for two weeks.

The Audi Festival of German Films brings two weeks of movie screenings to cities across Australia, with Sydney set to be one of the busiest locations.
Running from April 21st to May 2nd, the festival programme offers an in-depth analysis of the acclaimed German directors Fatih Akin and Sonke Wortmann.
Other anticipated highlights include the German Currents section, which is set to showcase the latest productions from the nation's thriving film industry.
Screenings will take place at two of Sydney's most popular independent cinemas - Palace Norton Street in the suburb of Leichhardt and Chauvel Cinema in Paddington.
Some of the films that people attending the festival can look forward to seeing include Tandoori Love - described as the first-ever European Bollywood production - and Michael Haneke's wartime thriller The White Ribbon.
Tickets for the opening night gala in Sydney, which will include the Australian premiere of Andreas Dresen's comedy Whisky with Vodka, are priced at AU$45.
General admission tickets for screenings will cost AU$17, or AU$14.50 for concessions.
The other cities hosting events for the Audi Festival of German Films are Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
