Some suggestions from TakeOne to produce an effective corporate video
Just some simple suggestions presented in a checklist format from a professional video production company based in Sydney.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, February 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Consider your business as if was a song... what would it be? and what would it be if it was a single photograph, or a colour or a flavour?

These are just a few questions to help you understand how to make effective your next corporate video production. As everybody probably knows, corporate videos are usually dull, boring and generally tedious. But this is not necessary: your corporate video should be bale to capture the attention and the emotions of your target, either it is your staff, your clients and other public.

So, here are our suggestions:

1) Write down a list of words that best describe your business. Every business has a unique style. Consider also - how do your customers perceive you, or how would you prefer your customers to perceive you? This list is your guide, the thing you should keep coming back to throughout the whole process.

2) Next up is one of the more enjoyable steps - pick some music. Be especially picky. It's good to find something that isn't too repetitive, and continually builds and changes. Most importantly, when you play it, you should already be seeing movement and images in your head.

3) The next step is obvious then - write down those images. This will become your storyboard. Are they photos? Footage? Animation? It's entirely up to you. Make sure that, like the music, they aren't too repetitive, and they build and change. Even better - they should tell a story.

4) Now, consider what information you want to include. I know, I know - I said not to do this. But now that you have built up the emotional core of your corporate video, it's okay to flavor it with a bit of text. A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes text is much simpler and to the point. When writing text remember that less is more, less is more, less is more...

5) Finally, put it all together, and watch it back. Show it to other people - staff, customers, strangers - and see what they say. Sometimes they won't be able to tell you exactly what to change, but they will help you identify the weak spots.

Keep at it, until you're content that you have captured the tone of your business. And once you have, then show it to the world.
