PALMDALE, CA, December 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dale L. Baer, Animator for Disney, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in entertainment production.
With 39 years of professional experience, Mr. Baer specializes in animation. He is responsible for supervising the animation process for films, collaborating with teams on pre-production stages, verifying and finalizing drawings. He was an animator for Disney from 1971 to 1976 and rejoined their team in 1998. He owned an animation studio from 1984 to 1996 and freelanced on and off. He worked on the films, "Roger Rabbit," "The Emperor's New Groove," "Meet the Robinsons" and the upcoming "Princess and the Frog." He was honored with an award for the character animation for "The Emperor's New Groove."
Mr. Baer has completed coursework in art. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and received the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award from ASIFA-Hollywood in 2001. It was his lifelong passion to become an animator, and he attributes his success to his passion for his profession and the support he receives from others.
