Shaunt Benjamin Has 25 Years of Experience as an Actor, Writer, Director and Producer of Film

GLENDALE, CA, August 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Seroj Shaunt Bejanian AKA Shaunt Benjamin, President and CEO of Melody Films Entertainment Inc. and Founder/Creator of High Key Fitness, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in human transformation and inspirational film production.

Prompted by a desire to entertain and inspire, Mr. Benjamin established Melody Films, a film production outfit dedicated to creating films with life-affirming messages. He brings 25 years of diversified experience as an actor, writer, director and producer to his company, which produced the critically lauded "Hindsight." Released in 2004, it won for Mr. Benjamin a Best Director award. He considers the feature film "The Fighting Chance", an inspirational family sport drama, to be his proudest accomplishment yet. He wrote, directed, produced and starred in the film with his son Mike Coleman and his daughter Melody Angel which is due out in 2010. Also an accomplished theater actor and a lifetime member of The Actors Studio, Shaunt most recently appeared as the Lead in a production of Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge" for which he won a "Best Actor" award.

Mr. Benjamin, a seventh degree martial arts master, is also the Creator/Founder of "Sport Karate: High Key Fitness" system, an international sport karate curriculum that teaches self-enhancement, self-discipline, respect, positive attitude and self-discovery through the use of the Martial Arts. This system is currently being introduced to High Schools and Colleges as a tool to empower the students to realize their God-given potential to make a positive impact and contribute to the world. He has trained a number of world sport karate champions. A firm believer that martial arts is a vehicle for self-transformation, he has recently produced the film "A Fighting Chance," which tells the story of a father who teaches his young son how to tap into his own internal powers to overcome obstacles. Mr. Benjamin is also the Creator of International "ACTING: Nothing But the Truth" System which teaches everyone with a desire how to be a great actor. This system is currently being introduced to High Schools and Colleges around the world. Mr. Benjamin attributes the success that he has enjoyed in multiple disciplines to his faith in God, guidance of his mentors, his students, his parents and siblings, and the incessant support and love he receives from his wife Vera and his children Mike and Melody.

In addition to filmmaking and martial arts, Mr. Benjamin conveys his positive message through the written word. To date, he has published two books: "Seven Cs of Success" and "H.I.G.H. K.E.Y. F.I.T.N.E.S.S." He took summer acting classes at Harvard University, writing, directing, producing at UCLA extension and furthered his ACTING training at The Actors Studio in New York and Los Angeles. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, (BSEE 1983). He won a world karate championship in 1985. He also received a Master of Science in Quality Assurance in 1997 from California State University.
