Alester Owens leads 225 Productions Filmworks to success

BERGENFIELD, NJ, June 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alester Owens, President and Chief Executive Officer of 225 Productions Filmworks, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of filmmaking.

As the president and CEO of 225 Productions Filmworks, Mr. Owens is responsible for producing and directing short films and documentaries, writing and composing music including background music. He attributes his success to his creativity.

Mr. Owens is a member of the International Academy of the Visual Arts and the International Documentary Association. He is a recipient of nine Telly Awards for Film Documentaries and World Culture Films, six Communicator Awards, three AVA Film Awards, two Videographer Awards, two Davey Awards, two Aegis Film Awards and two Accolade Film Awards. He has also received the Hermes Award, the Horizon Award, the Omni Award, the Pegasus Award, the Remi Award, the Marcom Creative Award, the Goldie Film Award and the DV Award. He will one day win an Emmy and a Grammy.
