FINALE, the award winning independent horror film featuring international star Domiziano Arcangeli, has its Los Angeles debut screening at the Dances with Films Independent Film Festival on Saturday, June 6th, 2009.

FINALE will screen at 11:45pm at the Laemmle Sunset 5 theatre at 8000 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90046. Tickets are available at www.danceswithfilms.com.

FINALE, directed by John Michael Elfers, is a dark horror tale shot in the spirit of the
classic Gialli films of the 1970's and 80's. A small town family descends into a vortex of denial and paranoia after the death of the oldest son. Though labeled a suicide, the bizarre circumstances lead the mother to believe there are sinister, supernatural forces at work. But when her investigation threatens her teenage daughter's life and her own sanity, her only escape is the very route attempted by her dead son - to confront the demon lurking in the mirror.

The cast includes Carolyn von Hauck, Suthi Picotte, Domiziano Arcangeli, Elizabeth Holmes and John W. Lawson.

FINALE has screened at several film festivals around the globe since its premiere at A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia, where it won the Independent Spirit Award. It has since gone on to win awards at every festival it has played, including Best Horror Film in both Seattle and Colorado Springs, and Best Cinematography in Boston. Audiences and critics have hailed the film for its bizarre and disturbing imagery and how it recalls the heyday of 1970's cinema. Horror site Arrow in the Head favorably reviewed the film as being evocative of the best work of Italian horror directors Dario Argento and Mario Bava.

The film features international film star Domiziano Arcangeli. He plays the mysterious "Master of Ceremonies." Domiziano Arcangeli has appeared in over 60 films and television series in Italy and the United States. He has worked with several celebrated Italian directors including Federico Fellini, Liliana Cavani, Tinto Brass, Umberto Lenzi and Bruno Mattei. He was also a regular on Zalman King's popular CHROMIUM BLUE series on Showtime Beyond.

Domiziano recently wrapped shooting on ORGY OF BLOOD, a gothic horror film that he executive produced and stars in. He is also appearing on screen this summer in Sacha Baron Cohen's follow-up to his hit comedy film BORAT entitled BRUNO.
